To perform an author search for a book there are two options:

In the Library Catalog:

  • Launch the library catalog
  • Change 'Keyword Anywhere' to 'Author Name'
  • Enter the author in the 'Search for' text box

In WorldCat Local:

  • Go to WorldCat Local - Advanced Search
  • Enter the author in the 'Author' search field

Performing an author search for journal articles can be complex:

  • Use Google Scholar for a quick search to identify the field or Journals in which the author writes
  • If you already know the journal(s) in which the author writes :
    • Use the Journal Titles A-Z list to see if we have access to the journal(s)
    • If access is provided via more options than "in print at the library":
      • Select an option
      • Search within the publication for the author
      • Click on the full-text link if available
      • Click on 'Check Availability' if a full-text option is not presented
