So long as your citations end up with the correct formatting with all required elements, it shouldn't matter what tools are used to get to the finished product.
One of the benefits of the library databases is that generally the citation is available right there with the articles (just a click or two away).
Use the Library's Citation Guides to verify the citation style and formatting before you turn in the paper - citation errors are one of the worst reasons to lose points on a paper.
