To find critical essays in books:
- Start at the library homepage
- Select Find Books in the left column, and then click "In Ship Library"
- Enter: huckleberry finn criticism
- Also try searching for: mark twain criticism
To find articles in journals:
- Start at the library homepage
- Select Find Articles in the left column, and then click "In Databases"
- Select the "E" tab and then click EBSCOHost
- Select the following databases:
- Academic Search Complete
- MLA International Bibliography
- Click "Continue" at the bottom of the screen
- In first search box, Enter: huckleberry finn.
- In second search box, Enter: criticism
At this point you may have some specific aspect of the novel that you want to find articles about. If so, substitute a more specific term for criticism. For example, race.
