Interlibrary loan is available to Shippensburg University faculty, staff, and students who need materials from other libraries. Log in to ILLiad from the library homepage and, if you haven’t used ILLiad before, create an account. Submit a New Request for a book, article, report, or other item not held in Lehman Library. Average turnaround time is 3.02 days for electronic materials such as journal articles, and 6.72 days for physical items such as books. You will receive an email from the interlibrary loan department when your request arrives. Books are held for pickup at the Lehman Library circulation desk for on campus and commuter students, faculty, and staff (or mailed to distance ed students). Articles will be available through your interlibrary loan account as PDFs. For information regarding a specific interlibrary loan request, please contact the interlibrary loan department by phone at 717-477-1462 or email at libill@ship.edu
