You should complete the following set of General Education courses within your first year at SHIP:

  • Appropriate developmental placements
  • ENG 106 WIFYS (may have to complete ENG 050 first)
  • HCS 100 Intro to Human Communications
  • HIS 105 World History I and HIS 106 World History II (may have to complete RDG 050 first)

Your first semester schedule will consist primarily of:

  • Appropriate General Education courses for your major or area of interest  
  • Introductory courses for your major or area of interest
  • If you have earned placement into developmental-level course(s), you will be pre-registered into the appropriate course(s).
