Q. What is an override?

An override is issued by a specific academic department to allow you to schedule a course that requires approval to schedule or is restricted to a student population that you are not part of during course registration.  Many academic departments have electronic override request forms.  Please visit the academic department’s website to complete these e-forms if you find that you need an override.
