The most reliable way to find case law is the Westlaw database.

From the first search screen, type in your case, e.g. Cullison v Medley and hit search.

  • The default search only covers All Federal cases, which does not find Cullison v Medley
  • Clicking the option to the right of the search box and Selecting "All States" will bring back Cullison v Medley (from the Indiana Supreme court)

Evaluate your search results, check the results screen closely and find the 1991 entry to see the specific case your professor assigned.
